Andy Warhol was a figure that lead in pop art. He used Marilyn Monroe as an example of Pop Art because she an icon of pop culture. Through this piece & many others of women, Warhol was said to give off the message that these women & others were viewed as products compared to human beings. Warhol's art was not only to please the eye, but to give a deeper message to the many that viewed his art. We used Ben to recreate this artwork. Ben tried to smile & angle himself like Marilyn & we angled the lighting to get it somewhat similar. Then we messed around with hue/saturation in photoshop to get the finished product.
